An army ranger is a person who works in army and serves their country. Army rangers are in the whole world. The Unites States rangers are known as 75^th regiment. Army rangers can work in many fields. These fields can be with in army or out of the world. There are certain options are:-

Army Rangers are ready to serve his nation at a moment notice. They are well educated and highly trained for performing any task. Army rangers possess high physical stamina and strength. During training they face much kind of dangers and also face the conditions which are unacceptable for a common person. To survive in these kinds of situations, it’s totally depending upon their mental level. They ordered to focus on their mission. An army ranger works the whole day without of being tired. They also join many programs which belong to their physical and mental level. There are so many responsibilities which they are instructed to follow:

Ø  Dedication: Dedication towards his work is the most important responsibility of an army ranger. They should be devoted towards their work.

Ø  Leaders: It is the responsibility of an army ranger that he must fulfill all the expectations of their officers.

Ø  Delight: An army ranger should be delighted. This thing will also increase his military skills.

Ø  Advanced training: An army ranger should attend all advanced training programs and should take advantage from these trainings.

Ø  Physical tests: It is also a responsibility of an army ranger that he should attend all tests and exams. These kinds of tests included with map reading, history tests and standard also.

The army rangers are well known for performing best drills in war time. They are trained in this way so that they can work in these situations. Army ranger is very versatile in working.

• Army ranger is required to pass all kind of physical tests. These tests are included with physical tests and map reading tests also.
• The physical fitness of an army ranger should be 80% or more than that. They have to complete 5mile running every day and also are instructed to complete 12 miles in 3 hrs. They must have to score around 75 in every exam.

The daily routine of an army ranger is of doing 53 push-ups also 6 chin ups. They must have to run 2 miles every day with their running shoes in 14.54 min. an army ranger should be fearless.

How are they paid?

If we talk about the salary of an army ranger then we can say that is almost same in all states. The salary of an army ranger is quite sufficient but the additional benefits and bonuses they get are usually attractive. The pay scale of an army ranger depends upon the education qualification and also depends upon the experience. The special skills one has and how much dedicated the candidate towards his duty is also responsible factors. The army is providing houses, meal medical and some other bonuses also.

Ø  An E 4 ranger is getting $2,567 per month.

Ø  An E7 army ranger with having 16 year experience is getting $4,000 per month

Ø  An E5 ranger is earning $15,00 per moth

Ø  The sustenance salary is $38,00 per month

They also get the attractive incentives also but these incentives are very difficult to get. They use to work in very difficult locations. So its not easy for them to work and get incentives also. The average salary of an army ranger is above than $40,000 per year.

ü  The Maximum  bonus they are getting- up to $40,000

ü  the rangers who are well trained and having good skills are getting- $5,000 to $20,000

ü  the bonus of Army ranger are- $5,000

ü  Middle eastern  rangers are getting  bonus- $10,000 to $40,000

The rangers who have good education qualification are getting $5,000 this bonus may be combined with other incentives.

What skills do they require?

There are many requirements are needed to become an army ranger. In all these requirements, education requirement is most important and also professional trainings required. The person who wants to become an army ranger, a bachelor’s degree is required and those who want to join flying career, then a degree in flying aircraft is important. There are some exceptions also in some cases. From the last two years the way of selecting candidates is little bit different. The way of training is also different.

Many of ways are going to change by the training center of army. Now their ways to trains their soldiers are going to change. One and the first thing is the education now days. First of all, training centers want good educated people for army. So they have made certain qualifications for army rangers:-

ü  Citizenship: First of all the citizenship is very important. The person who is a citizen of United States can only apply to join army.

ü  High schooling: Candidate should have high school diploma. After having this diploma, he/she will be eligible for further formalities.

ü  Age: – Age limit is very important. Candidate must be 18 years old or more than this age.

ü  Physical tests: – Candidate must be able to pass all physical tests. Without passing these tests one may not suppose to apply to join army.

During training they face the maximum difficulties and situation which a normal person can’t face easily. There are some phases are which tells us about the training:

ü  In the first round of training the candidate passes through the obstacles or we can say that the first round is of obstacles.

ü  The candidates may require living or spending their days and nights in a wild environment. This kind of training provided them just to check their physical stamina.

ü  In the third round, they may have to live in a jungle. This is just to teach them if ever they needed then they must know how to survive in a jungle.

Students are required to pass the physical tests also. In this test they are required to:

• They have to do minimum 50 push ups
• They have to do 59 sit ups
• They have to run 5 miles in 40 minutes
• And also have to do 6 chin ups.

There are some additional requirements also:-

§  They have to swim 15 meter

§  They have to cover 16 miles with 65 miles

§  They have to cover 2miles in 15 minutes

These are the basic parts of the physical test. Of course it is a very tough training but it is according to the present’s need. There are certain skills also:

ü  Good memory: – an army ranger should have good memory because a many times they have to remember codes.

ü  History: – an army ranger should have the knowledge of all war history, so that they can get something from the pat wars.

ü  Operate: – an army leader should have good leading and operating skills. So that a company can work in a good manner.

ü  Intelligence: – an army ranger should do their work in a good manner. All army rangers should be graduates at least.

The person who works as an investigator called an army ranger. It is a small group of soldiers which is fully well trained. Rangers were come in front of us in 1670. These rangers were commanded and ordered by Church Cap. The most of rangers were in war 1675-76; these were commanded by Major Robert Rogers. This war is known as King Phillip War. Major Robert organized nine companies during this war. After that in 1942, United State government decided to make an organization of military group. The first U.S. Battalion of Rangers comes in front of us 19 June, 1942. Bu in 1950 it got success in every way. The rangers are supposed to do all kind of works. They are ready to work in water and sky at any time. They are well trained in performing any task. But they have to follow certain instructions:

Face danger: Rangers have to be ready for all kind of dangers at any time. They can be sending for any kind of task. They are well trained for these kinds of works.

Physical stamina: An army ranger should have high physical stamina and courage. They should be self disciplined also.

Body development: They are instructed to maintain their body fitness in a good way. So that they can work well.

Training: The training of army rangers is not quit easy. They are good swimmers and are capable to put up heavy weights.

Instructions:  They are instructed to keep themselves in high and bad physical condition because at any time they can be ordered to stay in high temperature also.

Education: Education is most important for every soldier. They have to read many code languages and maps also. For that kind of tasks education is very important.

In the starting training of being ranger, they have to spend nine weeks in Boot Camp and then they have to go for infantry training. In these training they have to give their best otherwise they can be rejected also from the training. They are prepared for sky, sea and land, so that at any order they can go.
